Snow! I love it and every year I MUST do some kind of snowman craftivity with my students. I usually have my students create a snowman using geometry vocabulary. This activity comes from the book Mathematical ART-O-Facts by Catherine Jones Kuhns. There are lots of great crafts in this book.
However, this year I had to create another type of snowman because we changed our math map to match common core and I won’t teach geometry during the winter anymore. Instead, I made up Factor Snowmen- A Venn Diagram Craftivity and boy did they turn out cute. The student loved creating them and they did some great thinking.
